Here's some photos of my new bike which I picked up yesterday.
First impressions are that it's a nice bike and a good replacement for the 900 Diversion I traded in. The engine is very nice and pulls nicely even on hardly any revs. The low seat is comfy and should be good for extended trips.
Mirrors are truely awful and vibrate badly starting at 3000 revs.
Not sure but I sometimes feel it sort of hesitate or fluff, but maybe thats just me getting used to it. I have all the panniers too and they are pretty roomy good for touring and the quality of the bike and boxes seems to be very good.
Passenger space is good too. Very happy with my purchase so far.

Here she is. Currently in hibernation till the winter is over with. The misfire/hesitation was not my imagination but was some electrical problem which was fixed at the first service. Was a manufacturing fault which went un-noticed at the factory and also sadly enough by my dealer who obviously never tested the bike before handing me the keys. Anyway it's fixed now and its working perfectly.

it looks white but it's actually a very light gray. I was going to get the red one till the dealer pointed out the light gray one. My Triumph Street Triple is black so wanted a completely different colour.
Anyway I'm taking my Beamer down to Sicily this year for it's holidays. Should be a great trip.

I didn't notice much mirror vibration, but there must be some because my right mirror came loose and keeps coming loose.and swinging like a windsock. Because I have a windshield, I can't just screw the **** thing back in because the mirror hits the windshield. I'll get the dealer to deal with it, but you'd think that BMW could come up with a better solution than a couple of bolts on a thread. So far I'm using a combination of loctite blue, teflon tape on the thread (thanks group for these suggestions!) and electrical tape around the nuts. . . this is supposed to be a premium bike, yes? Sigh. . .
