Took a trip with my son from Michigan to Colorado last week and needed to haul the 1250R and 599 Hornet. I rented a 4x8 enclosed and used my Tetris skills to wedge in both bikes. Had to pull the mirrors from both and a few other bits from the Hornet to prevent damage. The bikes have lots of foam wrapped around contact points and I used dunnage bags for support and protection. The trailer tucked in nicely behind my Volvo. Fuel economy was excellent.
