KOMO is the brand name of garbage bags. I don't know if that's a worldwide brand though.
Anyway, we call the color of those cars "Komo grey" :ROFLMAO:

Want this low-key look? It’ll cost you. Sometimes dearly. The paint colors, which are mostly offered on sports cars and utility vehicles, often command premiums. In some cases, they are merely options that can add a few hundred dollars to an automobile’s price tag. In others, they run $10,000-plus and are reserved for special cars, such as extra-rugged off-roaders or ultra-high-performance two-seaters.
I wouldn't chose any of those colors even for a $10,000 discount.

Garbage is an American word, so how about just “Rubbish Grey”?

Though I actually kinda like these primer grey colours.

Not a fan of this paint. While we're on the subject, I also really hate black wheels, to me nothing makes a bike look like a pile of crap easier than black wheels, reminds me of a car with no hub caps. The benefit is that it has squashed my desire of spending big money on new bikes.

I like the gloss grey paint, not a fan of the flat finnish on some cars. But I think the grey R just needs a bit more of something/colour on it.

For total black to work it needs to be high gloss and immaculately kept which is never the case and I agree with you on wheels. It does remind me of old American cars on old films with missing hubcaps and a real eyesore to look at.

Wondering if you mean black or just any dark colour. Eg, I don’t like the black wheels on the previous R1250R white model, but I love the just off black colour of the wheels on my black R1250R.

Again I’m not keen on black wheels on cars, but I like shades of grey or, for example, to use Porsche speak Satin Platinum.

Black wheels looked very nice on my bright red FJR, especially after I repainted them in high gloss.
For me the no-go for any motorbike are spoked wheels...
Motorcycles are not bicycles are they?

Agreed. Someone in the other thread mentioned having the frame yellow, which if more toward the gold end of the spectrum, might look nice. Or orange, though perhaps that strays a little too close to a KTM vibe.

As far as dark wheels, I like the dark glossy charcoal gray on my Exclusive Pollux Metallic Matte wheels (which also matches the color of the frame)...chrome wheels would have looked odd. That said, I'm glad they're not black.

When I was originally looking for a 1100S I looked at one in that colour and a Mamola Rep but wasn’t sure I could live with the colours every day, I eventually got a plain boring light Silver 1100S Sport and had it for nearly ten years, but still like that colour scheme.
