Trying to decide if the BMW one-piece is really better than the Frogg Toggs Ultra2 2-piece, which is kind of like Bright Yellow Tyvek. . very light, pretty good for about 30 dollars.
I have a jacket and pants separated, I actually use the jacket for really cold days too and to walk to the subway when raining.
I think that having the separate pieces, I can give a better use, at least of the jacket.
I have ridden under a hard rain for couple of hours and got home pretty dry.
I have a BMW Air Flow 4 which is perfect for the summer heat but is not water proof. The rain suit easily fits into my side bags and allows one to jump into it pretty quickly and I got a size that fits over my BMW suit.
