I haven't had a chance to break that yet. But I have had success fixing automotive interior panel mounts with plastic specific JBWeld and Thermomorph Moldable Plastic pellets when I needed to build up height under a push pin.

You'll need an epoxy-based plastic cement. Super glue largely doesn't work in my experience.

Also, if you have a steady hand, try drilling the broken off post and the cover so you can insert a very small diameter pin for extra reinforcement.

This is the large tubular one, not one of the two little ones. I ordered a new one from Bob's. For $38, I'm halfway there in epoxy and aggravation.

I’ve used 3M Scotchweld DP8005 twice to glue a cracked BMW pannier and the headlight assembly from a K1300R. This glue is made specifically for the two notoriously difficult to glue PP and PE plastics
