I'm looking at getting this, and I'm being told that I might have to change out the rear plastic faring.... anyone done this? Is the part 77 44 8 521 412 inclusive of everything you need to mount it? or do you also have to order other parts?

you will have to get a new trim piece that's between the seat and taillight. Not sure about what part #s you need. I priced it at the dealer and I want to say it was around 8-900 for everything to mount and the luggage.

Ok, so even with this type of trim, I'm going to have to replace it? This is confusing since the option list says it's "Ready" for the bags addon..

You will have to change the passenger grab rail for the one that has the taller loops to set the back case platform.

My understanding from talking to the dealer yes, you have the trim for the grab rail not the luggage.
