Hi to everyone,

recently took delivery of my R1200r and finally got to ride it without it raining. Wow! I am loving this bike ,pity winter is coming but hope to get a few more miles under the belt before ice, snow and salt descend.

First impressions:

-wind blast above 75 could be a problem on long run, taller screen?
-can ride all day in 3rd or 4th loads of torque.
-controls and dash very user friendly.
-nice pick up fuelling spot on and like the little pops and bangs when close throttle.
-conclusion .. roll on summer and Scottish roads

Thanks for welcome,
has anyone fitted the Motorrad tall screen? thinking about buying one but £150 + vat and then bracket at 130 is making me wince Ouch!! want to get some feedback first.
Also can you use any decent trickle charger through the 12v outlet or does it have to be the BMW version?

hiya Phil,from manchester,as regards the charger,you"re going to have to use one that is compatible with canbus wiring system,optimate make one around £70.00,hope that has been of help.G,2011 classic
