My mechanical noise sensitive ears find The head noise troublesome. I recognise there is going to be noise, they are in direct line sight to my ears, and with all that metal rotating at speed and valves slamming in to their seats…
anywhoo, what about some kind of barrier / cover to shield the direct line of sight from the head to the ears.. .? Searched the net, Cant find anything designed to do this.
just a thought I had.

When I wear foam type earplugs, I can't hear that stuff!

Perhaps this is a solution for you?

These are for a LC, don’t know if these are also available for an oil cooler?

supplier is Powerbronze

I really want to get these, but for heat control rather than noise... I talked to someone at the big summer rally that had them, and they funnel a lot of the radiator heat under the bike rather than onto the feet/shins.

Perhaps some Dynamat on the underside of that device might mitigate some noise for the OP

Cheers, Dave
