This is the first time im hearing the sounds of an R1200R aftermarket exhaust, it sounds pretty good to me, but I'm sure there could be better sounding exhaust systems on the market. The Akrapovic exhaust system has a nice humble tone, not too loud and annoying like some motorcycle exhaust system's i've heard in the past. Check out the video and let me know what you think.

hey do you have any idea how much this Akrapovic exhaust price is?

Maybe even a picture of the exhaust? I've seen some r1200r exhausts and they look too bulky and out of place, i hope this has a look closer to what the r1200r OEM exhaust looks like...

Akrapovic Exhaust Slip On Systems BMW R1200R

Akrapovic Slip On Exhaust System

The Akrapovic slip on exhaust is a parallel line to the Bolt-on series and is based on a simple replacement of the stock exhaust muffler together with the link pipe. The rest of the stock exhaust system remains untouched. The Akrapovic exhaust system is developed and fine-tuned for each specific model of motorcycle, and is the last step before a serious tune-up involving the replacement of the entire exhaust system.

The SLIP-ON system is not designed for extreme high performance, but is intended for the customer to whom aural and visual enhancement is more important than setting the quickest lap times. This system produces a much richer and deeper sound than the quite restrictive stock exhaust. The SLIP-ON system will give your bike a completely new aesthetic effect. The oval-section muffler, available in either titanium or carbon-fiber outer sleeve, will accentuate the beauty of the lines of your bike, and the logo on the muffler will be a constant affirmation of your discerning taste.

Of course performance has not been forgotten. Your motor_s potentials will be awakened; the designs for this system come from the same department which designs the racing versions of Akrapovic exhaust systems. In addition, due to the use of high-tech materials, you will gain weight savings and improve the overall characteristics of your bike.

Features:
- Carbon or titanium sleeve options.
- Hydroformed link pipe included with each system.
- Lightweight carbon fiber muffler clamps.
- Each system tested and designed for maximum performance.
- All internal parts of canisters are made of titanium.
- Replacement sleeves available for most models.

Perfect tone in my opinion. Not too loud and no rasp. Just lower basy tone. Theres too much cops in my area that hassles bike. Thanks for the video.

PSI...for information on Hoshiko's HR1 exhaust, contact Jason D ([email protected]) at Hard Rock Motorsports. Hard Rock MotorSports The website is less than informative, but Jason (owner) is very helpful and responsive. Make certain you tell him year...and STRESS year of your R12, so that connector pipe arrives with correct diameter and bend.
