I was hoping for the stock sound but in black. Here is a video from BOS. It’s a bit louder than stock. I put the stock back on for comparison and am not inclined to take it off again. No point in having more clutter than necessary.

Hard to tell the volume from a YouTube video but the tone sounds pretty good.

I think it sounds excellent. Not too loud, nor is it obnoxiously sharp sounding. I think my Remus may be a little louder, but they sound very much alike.
