Got these on ebay for about $70.00. . .went to the hardware store to buy lockwashers and red loc-tite and replaced the plain washers. I'd never have heard of these, but for Hoshiko and this forum. You guys are terrific!:clap:

I believe they are chromed plastic. I also have a pair of the black Storms and really like them. They seem sturdy enough in daily riding. I'm sure they won't help much as impact protection, but they aren't designed to. drDave certainly got them for a great price.

Hey Doc, those suit the Classic rather well, I think.

They are chromed plastic. I was glad to have found a set since I agree the Classic works really well with more classic...chrome . Its also got the chrome engine covers and a chrome Wonderlich crash bar. I wish the frame itself was chromed

I love my barckbusters, I was deciding between the black and there are some transparent ones too, I'm personally more inclined on the not shiny stuff.
