I know REKLUSE make a clutch pack that is higher performance and a bit cheaper than the BMW item.

I haven’t researched any other sources.

EBC also have options. Respected brand for brake pads, so I’d think their clutches would be good.

I bought a low-mile 2013 GS waterboxer (first year) in 2020, and had problems with the clutch at under 15K miles. It was dragging at a stop, had vibration, etc. Dealer inspected, and said clutch was okay, and wanted to tear into the transmission.. umm, no thanks.. In 2021 when it started to slip I'd had enough and I installed a Rekluse, which completely fixed every issue with it. It was like a new bike, actually better.

There's a good thread on the Adv Rider website under GS bikes with tons of info about the Rekluse, if you need it. And there is a very good YouTube video by FTA Adventures, as well as Rekluse, on how to do it.

I would add that if possible, get the kit direct from Rekluse in Idaho, US, as they occasionally make revisions and that way you will ensure you get the latest kit.
