I'm sure this has been discussed, just can't seem to find it.
I need to add a little bit of oil to my clutch master cylinder, and since I don't live near a dealer do any of you know what would be acceptable and mix well with the stock fluid?

According to Beemer Boneyard, Magura Royal Blood (Blue) is what is used in these bikes, despite BMW specifying their labelled own product (Hyspin V10). You could source it from them or a good bicycle shop.

Are you sure you actually need to top it up? If it is on the safe range, I’d leave it, as with clutch pack wear, the level will rise.

I'm not sure I need to top it off, but it did leak quite a bit due to me cutting one of the little orings....

I've used baby oil before. It's highly purified mineral oil with a pinch of fragrance, and no, it doesn't smell like a fresh diaper when you stop.

Just to be clear, It's been in my bicycle brakes for over 10 years. Never tried it in a motorcycle clutch or brake.

Thanks for all the responses, turns out I didn't lose as much fluid as it appeared, a little bit of oil can make a big mess....
