A friend is loaning me his camera and we found the best place to put would be on top of the clutch fluid reservoir. Has anybody done this?
The adhesive pad would be permanent, which is not that desirable, but I'm sure they aren't that expensive.

BMW house suggested RAM mount or Z technik. Any experience with either of these?

I have just fitted the Z Technik mount (using the left hand mirror) for my Garmin Zumo. Gonna ride with it for a while before I attach the Zumo & will report back. Only issue I found in fitting it is that it requires two different sized allen keys to adjust which is an irritation but I will think of a way round that if the unit work...
