Just rode my '08 for about 300 miles and my shins were black with soot at the end of the ride. Any of you experienced this? Came out easy with soap but it did feel a little oily. I'm curios if it's just my bike or all r1200s have this issue.
DJ Fission and myself both have a front mudguard extender.
No cheers or jeers, It just IS.
But it does help reduce road spray from the front tire.
Wunderlich makes Splash Guards in black or silver.
Black or grey rider wear seems to be popular for some reason.
If you mix it up with large trucks and heavy traffic, it's hard to remain spotless.
That's ok Clem, I don't mind the dirt. I've been riding Harley's for years and the last thing u want on a harley is a splash guard. That would put one in the sissy category . Just wanted to make sure it wasn't something wrong with the bike. Thx
