Just installed the BMW DWA alarm in my R1200 and the web page claimed it was plug and play. Has anyone installed this system and what did you have to do to activate it. Best I can determine the dealer will have to activate it.

Found this from Adventure Rider 2005 GS post.
DWA is German an means "D"iebstahl"w"arn"a"nlage = Anti-Theft-Device
So if the "DWA" does not make any problems and works fine - ignore it and be
happy that you learned some German

So....DWA could mean Don't Worry About it ?
