Hi all,
Got my bike 2 weeks ago & it has only clocked 320km (can't do much as its 48C out there currently :( )

My new GPR exhaust is arriving tomorrow & just made me wonder..will it void the bike warranty if just change the end can (with the link pipe)?

Opinions appreciated..thanks.

I'm not 100% sure but I doubt it will void it, I had 2 different exhaust tips/ends, both have being seen by the mechanic and even knowing the were not any brand but home made, He didn't mentioned anything about voiding the warranty.

They cannot void the warranty at all. Nor can they deny warranty claims unless they can prove that your mods caused the problem being repaired. It's the Magnuson-Moss act, a Federal law, which applies to motorcycles, amongst others.

Uhh, 48C? That's 118.4 degrees F He's in Dubai, UAE
so don't think Magnuson-Moss act will apply.
Slip the GPR can on and ride. Warranty is probably OK.
Torque the exhaust clamp to 28Nm and
the silencer to frame bolt to 19Nm.
