You may be already use something, but I also apply a little anti seize (or assembly paste, eg. Catrsol Optimol paste) to these threads to avoid the risk of thread galling. On all my smaller threads I spray a little Lanotec (Lanolin based anti corrosion product), which fills any air gaps and avoids binding too.

Hello!

Sorry for posting in such a old thread, but it was the only one I could find.

I need to do the same because mines are getting rusty.

The bolts mounting the calipers to the fork are M8x32, but I can't find the correct size for the caliper pinch bolts. Any idea what size they are?

i love stainless, lots of grades for many applications! always amazed how a 304 stainless exhaust can look like chrome + virtually last forever!!
