are they prone to failure on the r1200r? Do y'all swap them for metal ones?

on the 1150 s they would fall apart and required preventive maintenance of replacing them with metal ones from beemerboneyard

Thanks

I hear you. Had that problem on 1100 & 1150 R.

From this:

to this:

Think they reccommend changing fuel filter every 24,000 miles.
Maybe Classic can check the service disc to confirm.
2012 R so haven't changed mine yet.

But do the ones on the 1200 crumble and die like the ones on the 1150?

I see that beemerboneyard offers the metal right angled version for the R1200R for about $120.

If the newer OEMs fall apart like the older ones, it is money VERY well spent to replace. I hope they've improved them.
