Santa gave me a Gerbing heated jacket for Christmas. My question, that the Gerbing help line did not understand, can i leave the controller plugged in to the battery when not using the jacket. I dont see an on off switch on the controller. Just trying to keep cords tidy, any good suggestions on placing the controller in a convenient location?

More info needed...

Which Gerbing controller do you have? The wireless-ready dual zone? If so, I'm not sure why you would want to leave it on the bike.

I don't have Gerbing gear, but I strap the controller to my thigh when in use. It's harder to unplug the gear from the controller than to unplug the "system" from the harness/bike...

I'm not familiar with the new Gerbing wired controllers. Does it have a little LED that's lit when connected to the bike?
If it has a light I would not leave it plugged into the bike.

When I had a wired controller I always unplugged from the bike and put the controller in my tank bag or coat pocket.
If I was off the bike for a short time I hooked it to my jacket.
