I enjoy riding the R at lower speeds but anything above about 70 is a pain. Haven't done anything about it yet - waiting for a road test - but I think the 1250R will go away to be replaced by a Moto Guzzi V100 or possibly R1250RS.
But the world is made up of a range of people, and some people love naked bikes, others don't. I'm tending to think though that there isn't much middle ground.
