Swapped out the old multi controller wheel with the new one today, all back together and working perfectly.

I also had a new clutch switch to fit… Disconcertingly, it behaved strangely. Clutch in, in first gear, no start. Let the clutch out, it started. (On Centre stand, so no drama) on removing the new switch I find one of the tangs is bent… and when I place them side by side, you can see that the new switch tangs are obviously mounted differently to the original switch. So I doused the old switch in a lot of contact cleaner and followed up with a lot of silicone spray, works fine. But what is going on with the New switch?! Bit odd. Happy New Year btw!

PS obvs the clutch lever bent the tang. (I tried it twice, same result) I also tried fitting the new switch first, without the clutch lever mounted.

The new switch is configured opposite to the old. Looks to be they gave you the wrong part. From a different model?

Can you read the respective part numbers?
The correct part is 32 72 8 537 609.
(And the brake lever doesn’t have a microswitch, so it could be from a different model).

The packaging has the right number but the part is wrong (re-packaging from a bull supply be Bahnstormer?).

Here’s a photo of mine (with two holes drilled to flush/clean the contacts)which matches your old one. The part number is embossed on the side.

I’d be taking it back for a refund (and humble apology … 😄).
