Hey all,

Glad to be part of this forum. I currently own a K1300S and 99% decided on switching to the new 2011 R1200R.

I've driven the k130s for 13500kms but always loved the way naked bikes look. Im switching for a number of reasons two of which are comfort and versatility (ability to convert it to a fully panniered tourer).

I know I'll be missing the 280km/h+ and power of my k13s. but that is a good thing in a way

BMW K1300S's are sick bikes and one of my favorites, would love to see pic's of yours if you have.

Hopefully you enjoy the R1200R as much as you did with your K1300S!

I must admit I do miss my K1300S, but I'm actually really enjoying the R1200R too. This is one bike that's hard to let go so if I'm ever back to sport bikes it'll have to be a second one rather than replacement

nice pic of bike , do you now have the r1200r .i would say that the 1200r motor would be a little more torque than the k1300s . would also be nicer to ride around the towns than the k1300s ,however over 90mph the k1300s would be a dream at speed ,all day riding covering huge distances so easy . i can't wait to get one soon enough.
