Hi All.

Got my R1200R in July. Bought it 2nd hand from BMW. It was registered in March 2010 and clocked about 6k km mileage.

Currently using my bike to commute to work daily which covers about 100km per day. Really enjoying the ride, stability and power it gives out is more than enough to join the highway speed.

Installed the protection bar, microflooters, touring windshield and side panniers. Soon to come GPS system, oil cooler guard and maybe top pannier.

Best investment ever!!!

The Micro-Flooter has a compact square shaped black metal body. Our tests showed that its high tech projector technique (55 watts) generates a powerful light despite its small size. It produces a soft-light transition at the edge of the light beam, and the fork mounted lights illuminates the road sides almost like a cornering light (helps to avoid hitting wildlife jumping out of bushes at night). The Wunderlich designed lamp brackets have built-in reflector screens for each lamp to reduce light pollution for rider and other road users. The set includes everything required for easy fitting: 2 Micro Flooter lamps including H3 bulbs, wiring harness, switch and relay ready for the “R” as well as two Wunderlich designed strong laser-cut aluminum brackets + extensive English language fitting instructions.

Hi ECMS,

R1200R 2012 is a great bike. Easy to handle and most forgiving. U will enjoy riding this bike in town. However it is also a great bike for long haul riding.

But then u already have a GSA at home for long haul.

Anyways, enjoy riding your R12R..

I've fixed these microflooters on my R12R.

It is great visibility for other vehicles on the highway knowing that u are around their proximity. Especially when u are in those tropical rain.

Be careful to adjust the microflooters not to shine to the oncoming traffic. Can be blinding and annoying to the oncoming drivers.

The main lighting on the R12R is good enough to see the road.
