Hello everyone,

I purchased a new R1200R a week ago Sat from Motohio here in Columbus OH and rode it home with bags and windscreen installed last Sat. Went for a 205 mile ride Sun. Very nice bike, very happy with the decision to buy.

I also have a 2005 HD 1200R Sportster. I will probably sell it in the spring.

Congrats on the new ride. Careful with all that newfound power! what is it... from about 60 to 110 hp? And probably lost about 150 lbs in weight...

Thanks buys. Yes the sporty is about 75hp with some mods and 100lbs heavier. The R1200R is a lot quicker, lighter, more nimble. Stops good too

Congrats on the new bike.
I wanted those BMW things instead of reflectors on my bike, and they told me that DOT does not let them sell the saddlebags without the reflectors.

I believe they gave me the reflectors. They just left it up to me what to do with them

Hey John. Its the BMW sport touring windscreen. I was going to get the ZTechnik but they had this in stock and discounted it 25% so I thought it would be worth a try. So far it seems to do a nice job.
