Hey everyone, just made the change to a R1200RS, appreciate its not quite the right bike for the forum, however hopefully you wont hold it against me :)

Had loads of bikes over the years, last time I had a boxer twin was way back in 2007, last bike was a ZX10R, so quite a change of pace.

Whether attending naked or fully dressed, both R and RS riders are more than welcome here.

It’s those GS folks we tend to look askance at…;)

Congrats on the bike, it’s a beauty. Quite a setup on that back tire, too, with not one but two aftermarket huggers.

Thanks for the welcome appreciated. I didn’t even realise the rear most one was none standard, is it from another bike or just the parts catalogue?
It’s from a GS

Welcome to the forum cloughnm. (y) Nice bike even though it's a bit overdressed. :)

They’re both non-standard…and as Panzermann indicated, the rearmost one is from a GS.

In my opinion, the HUGGER stays, the GS one has to go!!!!!!!

Otherwise, great looking bike. 👍🏻
