Recently acquired first BMW, a 2007 R1200R. So far, I am absolutely loving it. Everyone who sees it comments on how big it looks, and it does feel a bit big for me, too, but still I find it very easy to handle. Yesterday, Saturday, was perfect for riding in Eastern Mass. Today not so much.
Slowly easing myself into more highway exposure. Doing so increased average fuel consumption up to 54 MPG. Better than I expected. Was surprised how easily and comfortably it reach 70 MPH.
