Hello All!
I bought a R1200R Classic two weeks ago, and have ridden 2500km since.
I love the BMW!:)
I came from a KTM Superduke, and a long line of Japanese bikes before that. The BMW is a class above the rest. Stable yet fast handling, comfortable yet precise, frugal yet powerful...
I NEVER thought a BMW Boxer could be this much fun!
Before I rode the R1200R I tested many naked bikes. Ducati Streetfighter, Aprilia Tuono, Triumph Speed triple (by far the best) and a Kawasaki Z1000. The dealer told me to go for a spin on the BMW, and I thought he was joking. After the ride I knew what I wanted:)

Here's hoping driving pleasure to all board members!

WELCOME !
It's great to have you on the Forum.
2500 km in only two weeks. You ride frequently.
Finland ? Another new member Halonk is from Verdal, Norway.
Look forward to discussing Roadster issues together here on the Forum.:)
Welcome and congrats on the new bike. A friend and I just got back from a 2300 mile (about 3400Km's) 6 day trip around Ontario Canada. Our shortest day in the saddle was 4 hours and our longest was 9.5 hours.

The more I rode the bike the more I loved it. This bike never skipped a beat ever. These bikes are hidden secrets.

And the story keeps repeating,
Welcome to the forum Jokerdef, I'm on the same shoes as well as many people who tough the boxer engine was only good looking, all it takes is that one ride:D and man, the combination of that engine, ergonomics, suspension, brakes and looks, equals something similar to crack cocaine, it's way to addictive, please be careful, 2,500 kms in only 2 weeks sound like you are at risk of an R1200R overdose. ;)
welcome to the forum! I had a Speed Triple before and share your feelings. They are an awesome bike.
