Welcome to the forum. I'm not far from you in So. NH, and if you live close to Kimball's Ice Cream (Westford?) in the pic, I'm very close by. Also have had my 1200R for 2 years, joined MOV which is pretty cool too.

That's actually the Carlisle location, but yes, I'm close. I probably ride by your location on weekends. I"ll look into MOV.

Welcome to the site Paul. A lot of the R Wethead information here applies to the RS.

Welcome to the forums. That is such a pretty beast. Before I got my 2020R I lusted after the RS. I would have bought one but I didn't like the rider triangle for my aging shoulders. The new ones can be fit from the factory with tubular bars, so maybe next time. Cheers from NJ.

Thanks Mike. I do love that bike. I have bar risers on mine which helps a lot, but I'm thinking about doing the Wunderlich tubular bar conversion.

I wasn't sure about the color when I first got the bike, but I'd never owned any vehicle that had a remotely loud color scheme. I also got it used from Kissell with 365 miles on it for a great deal. Now I'm glad I did because I've really grown to like it.

In relation to the video review, on my LC 1200 Roadster, I find the difference between Road and Dynamic quite significant (I ride on the latter most of the time).
Also, I don’t think the reviewer really understands the Ride Modes properly - that the Dynamic Pro setting provides for a customisable combination of throttle response and ASC/DTC intervention settings.
Finally, from his last remarks, I don’t think he gets the biggest attraction of the R/RS pair - the all round versatility you don’t get from most other bikes.

Hello,

I've had my R1250RS for about 2 years. I've definitely seen the boxer light.

Welcome Paul. Awesome, beautiful bike. I love the color, and certainly doesn't hurt visibility.

I would love to hear a sound clip of that Remus exhaust on it. Any chance you could post a quick clip to the Tube?

Thanks! This isn't the best. I can try to get another one soon.

The Remus 8 is only listed for the R1200R, but it fits perfectly on the 1250. I had to get the flapper cover from a 1200 though to finish the job. I mostly got it because I found it 2nd hand but barely used and I liked the way it looked.
