New member from Suffolk, UK - 2023 R

I've posted here previously but finally qualified as a 'real' member as of last week!

Just wanted to say many thanks for all the help and advice - both already available here, and that I have personally received. Lots of factors went into settling on the R, but finding this friendly and informative community definitely contributed. (Especially as I've encountered rather less helpful bike forums!)

Guess I have to share a pic or two!

It's growing on me! I was a little ambivalent but didn't care enough for the other options to pay extra. (Triple Black would have been tempting if it hadn't had 'Triple Black' emblazoned on it.)

But I do like the unassuming look - I'm semi wishing I'd have skipped ESA so as to get the plain forks...

The Ice Grey would be my pick - it’s such a fresh, contemporary look without being gaudy.

I have grown to really appreciate the ESA, no matter the color. Welcome, enjoyed living in that part of the world for a few years, 2003-2006 at RAF Mildenhall.

If it were mine, I suspect the tape holding the fork reflectors might not be up to spec and the latter might go ‘missing’ …

Useful to know! They are so attractive, it would be such a shame if they were to fall off - I'll do my best to make sure that doesn't happen...
