Hello All, my name is Russ. I own a 2007 R1200R and just found this forum. I'm a member of other BMW forums and had to join this one. I've owned many BMW's over the years, airhead and oilheads, and have over 300,000 BMW miles on the saddle, and this bike is by far the best bike I've ever owned. I bought it in '08 with 8,000 miles on it. I look forward to meeting fellow R1200R riders and sharing info.

I spoke to Tom High at Rennsport Motorrad in Deland and he's got a few bikes he's entered in the show in the past. I plan on going next year (missed this year 'cause I rode to Sarasota for my 600 mile service that weekend) - so maybe we could meet up on the way and make a run out of it?

Hi Bob, Yes, I know Tom very well. I attend Riding into History every year. It's just right up the road from me. I had to miss this year due to a bad case of strep throat. I was flat on my back sick that weekend.
