Hi all,

I just bought a 2011 R1200R brand new, but I did notice that some members have the 2012 model, I didn't know it was out already?

Any ways I am very happy with this model, the power is really smooth, and it does kick you in the rear if your not careful!!

I almost love it more then my 2011 335is.

I hope with your help to learn more on what this bike can and cannot do, also find out what I can put on this baby to give it my personal look.

The 2012's arrives in Sept. At least the R1200R's did. I think the new K-GT1600 and K-GTL1600 were in August.

Where in T.O. are you from? I lived in Thornhill for about 8 years and also went to York U. My parents live in Richmond Hill. I'm thinking of towing my bike up in Sep next year and doing some nice rides up North. I'd love to ride up to Tobermory or Blue Mountain area on backroads, would be awesome.

I guess I am going to have to talk to you about getting a windshield for my ride, I hear that some do not fit right, you have to do some modifications to it?
