hi all
my user name is rca , i have rode bikes since 7 now 51 .
last few years i have had a few BMW's , i do like everything else as well .
at the moment for a daily ride to work i am using a 1200 gs , my second one , mileage is around 8500 miles , at the present . however i am now looking to buy a r1200r .
i am glad i found this forum and now which year and model to buy shortly.

you've been riding bikes for way longer than i've been alive lol
what other bikes have you owned other than BMW's, with the time you've been riding for I bet you went through a lot.

where do i start eh
last few years gone mad and had many bikes , at the present i own a hp2 sport , gs 1200 , ducati monster s4rs testastetta.
previous in the last couple of years are bmwr1200s ,ktm 950,aprilliatuono factory. aprillia rsv 1000, moto guzzi 1100.bmw 1150 adv. normally keep four to five at a time . i ride every day to work 40+ miles ,so get bored with them quick ,so ride one for a week and then use another ,however slowed a little now and only commute . no more 100 mph wheelies and crazy riding,been all over france and switzerland in a week , done the dolomites and stevio ,then down into italy, and then back through france ,5000 miles ,rained the whole time ,there was five of us .thats riding from 8 am to 7pm every day. over the years i have fratured my neck and tore part of my body almost off in a spill.two years to recover.still have a passion for the bikes . i wish i could not ride and give up ,but i cannot .it never leaves your blood .
