Pressure modulator/ABS pump

I'm trying to figure out how the brake lines are connected to the pressure modulator. There are four ports, two would be connected to the brake handle and brake pedal, the other two to the front and rear brake calipers, but which is which? Anybody that knows?

I found a picture from a shop manual but I'm not sure exactly what they mean by control circuit and brake circuit, if I were to guess I would say control is from handle and pedal, controlling the pump, but on the other hand it could also be from the pump controlling the calipers

You could try tracing the lines from the pump to the other end.

Well, it's my actual pump in the picture, so no lines attached to follow, I tried looking at an other bike but it's not that easy since the lines disappear behind "stuff" and would need some disassembling.
I can’t be 100% certain, but your interpretation is how I read it.

I'm reasonably certain that "control circuit" would be the "control surfaces" - I.E. levers, and "brake circuit" would be the calipers.
