In what is likely to be a never-ending attempt to farkle my 2012 R12 Classic, I am curious about whether anyone has found a source for chrome or carbon fiber pieces, e.g., drive shaft covers, fenders, etc. Already have the chrome engine covers (BMW) and crash guard (Wunderlich).

If all you care about is the look more then weight or performance, then I'll say just to get some 3M Scotchprint wrap 1080, and do it yourself, this way you'll have exactly what you are looking for without having to buy new pieces.

I was thinking about the shaft drive cover; there don't seem to be many large replaceable bits, other than the valve covers.

Classic, I've looked; they seem to have some plugs and caps, but nothing all that game changing. Will give it another look. I wonder, maybe a custom seat with a white stripe down the center to keep with the them of the bike. . .

You can always paint and powder the whole bike in neon lime green and it will really standout at the local weekend "tire kicking" hang out, or while at starbucks. Seriously, if your after "looks", then shop around (there's many, sites), then see what you like, trust your opinion, pull out your wallet & pull the trigger.

Hi Dr Dave....Ebay full off carbon bits and pieces, "Beestem" or "Imberger" seems the predomenent seller, the later being the most expensive...try NippyNormans.co.uk or Motorworks.co.uk in the uk they have a smattering listed as well.
Seats with a white stripe down the middle...a thread was started recently and someone got Johnlongday? custom seat, it had a white strip down the middle (photo included) looked great.
