Yes. I wanted to key a Givi top case to my fob key. I thought that a locksmith could do this but I didn’t want to give anyone my fob or my sole plastic key. I tried to get a dumb metal key but my dealer said they couldn’t get one. None of the locksmiths in my bush league town would touch this - useless imbeciles. I decided to do it myself but didn’t want to damage my plastic key. My dealer was able to order a spare for $35 (I think).

$35 is what I paid for a dumb metal key. I didn't realize the chipped plastic keys were that cheap.
