R12R Classic and MRA Streetshield "ST"

I went and bought a MRA streetshield for my Classic.
Installed it and found that the air turbulence makes LOUD noise in my helmet.
Not good. I have placed the screen high in front of the gauges and down low where the light is. Either position works. The noise in the helmet stays. So, what small screen would you recommend for some wind protection without the turbulence and noise? I mean, is there a screen like that at all. Or is it "naked" all the way:confused:

Hi Jokerdef: have you tried the OEM touring screen. It works for me. Just the right amount of wind protection. Not much noise from turbulence. The biggest downside is that I find myself riding 20mph or so faster than I usually did when my Classic was naked. I sometimes swap with a riding buddy who has a speed triple. On his own bike, he usually is behind me. When he rides mine, he's more often in front. Every time we swap, he complains that he needs a screen, a better seat and adjustments to his suspension because, fast as his bike is, at high speeds, the wind, and hard ride, good for a track, make riding for any length of time a challenge and a litteral pain in the a**. Last time, we rode to Vermont from NYC. When we got home, he bought a new saddle and started researching screens-the saddle didn't help much and the screens for that bike make it look bad. I tell him to start researching how to sell the Speedy and get an R12r

No windscreen for me! Either get too hot or they seem to throw the air in my helmet. ride el naturale
How tall is the touring screen? I'm 5'11" and like my head about the screen enough to see over rather than through it.
You will be able to see over it, I had no problem seeing over it. I'm 5'9" and I tried out the high screen last weekend. I had a sport shield which was great up until about 70mph. I found the sport shield kept me from riding to quick which was nice, but the wind can tire you on the express way. With the high screen the wind hit me at mid helmet which didn't work for me. I did like the protection at highway speeds. Overall I think its really challenging to discuss wind screens because of all the variables involved, height, helmet, screen angle, etc. If anyone is interested I have a 'used once' high screen for sale for a 2010+ bike.

My bike with the high screen and my Give E21's installed.

So which screen do you have on your bike in the photo?
That looks like the OEM touring (tall) screen).
Yes that is the OEM high (tall) or whatever description screen.
