Resetting on-board computer info

I can't figure out how to reset the T. RIDE and T. TOT displays on my OBC on my '15 R1200R LC. I can reset the average fuel consumption and average speed settings to zero by bringing them up and holding the INFO button down, but when when I bring up the T. RIDE and T. TOT displays and do this (they're both at 99:59:59) the displays will briefly go to zero, but then revert to 99:59:59 before I can release the button.

What am i doing wrong?

If it's in the top section (change displayed value using TRIP), try holding down TRIP instead of INFO?
No it's in the bottom section. Pressing the trip button down resets the trips odometers.
If T.TOT and T.RIDE are on the bottom line, press and hold INFO (the Bottom of the button) when each is displayed, to reset them. If they're on the top line, press and hold TRIP (the Top of the button). You can configure where they appear, Top, Bottom, or not at all. Press and hold the adjoining button will reset to the value to zero and immediately start counting again.

I always have to read the manual; I find those settings more than a bit convoluted, especially since I rarely change things once I get them set the way I want. And I normally have very few things displayed via the INFO button - tire pressure, ambient temps is about it.

In general, if there's a solid triangle at the left of the thing you want to reset, it's Press and Hold, if it's a triangle outline, it's just a short press. It's one of those things the engineers thought was clever, I guess. Kind of like the little gas pump symbol on your car's gas gauge to tell you which side of the car the gas tank access is on. Took my wife to point that one out to me 😂😂

It's on the bottom and I've been trying that procedure with no success. I'm going to trying moving the info to the top display and see if it works any better there.

Hmm. Worked for me (2016 Roadster) on the bottom line. I don’t normally have that info displayed but I turned them both on, on the bottom line, and long-pressed INFO until the timer reset and starting counting up again from zero, for each of those two timers. I wonder if you have a wonky button? I don’t think the 2015 model is any different in how that works than my 2016.
i just re-read your original post. That last part about resetting to zero and then immediately going back to 99:59:59 makes me think something is wrong with whatever computer handles that function. Mine had never been reset and when I turned on displaying them, both were non-zero but less than 99, and they were visibly counting up, which makes me think they they wrapped around to zero and kept going. Yours seem to be stuck at 99.
The button resets to zero all the other info displayed. I've tried holding the button down for a long time but that doesn't do anything. I've never used this info so it's not a big deal to me, I just like having all my stuff working properly.
