Hi, everyone.

I've got my hands on a headlight donated from a 2023 R1250R - I'm trying to see if I can substitute my OEM R1200R LC headlights.
Has anyone done this mod before? It looks like there are no posts about this..

Ive not seen anyone do this, but the thought has crossed my mind. I think it wont be easy as plug and play...

Let us know, this could be cool if it works in a way.

When my '16 R1200R headlight succumbed to a rock thrown from a Tuono I installed a Chinese LED PnP unit from eBay at about 1/3 the cost of OEM. The new unit is much better in every way.

I'd recommend it as an upgrade even if the abysmal factory light is still intact.

How complicated was it to remove the old and install this one? Also, can you please provide item détails? There are probably many who claim to be PnP but the one you bought is now proven to be. Thanks

Very interested to learn if a '23 R headlight can be easily added to an older K53! (Before/after pics of the light output would be really nice, even though those are hard to judge.)
