I have a new '13 R1200R and have questions about seats. I am looking at getting a new seat, my major concern is my wife's comfort. Any thoughts? I have looked at Sargents, Corbin, Wunderlich and Bill Mayer.

I've got a Wunderlich standard with 0 miles on it if you're interested. To tall for me at 5'10". I will take the hit to move it.

Thanks, but I am also short legged and have the low seat so I suspect the standard seat would also be to tall.

Hey Sean, welcome to the forum,

I don't really know how much are you going to ride 2 up but, I found a great solution without spending lots of money.

Take a look at this thread: http://www.r1200rforum.com/forum/bmw-r1200r-general-discussions-7/freedom-air-sport-seat-cushion-1123/

DrDave has a freedom air seat, I have the night hawk R, they both are pretty much the same.

I use it for "longer" rides, but if the wife comes with me, I just put it on the passenger side and go.

Wife loves it.

Freedom air
