Selling the Corbin seat I had on my 2012 R1200R Classic. Should fit all Hex Head generation Rs. I only had it for a year before I traded in for a GS Rallye.
It is a genuine brown bomber leather seat with black grippy vinyl sides and black stitching. I paid over $500 new.

Asking $200 to sell to local PDX rider.

Very tempting, and that’s a good price, but the seat looks too low for me (6’6”, 36” inseam).

I’d reckon you’d need it 3” higher

I guess if you don't know where "PDX" is you're not local ;). Looking for a Corbin or something other than the low comfort that I currently have.

Yeah not sure sorry. If it helps I am 6'1" with a 32" inseam. I can say on my bike at the stop light I wasn't completely flat footed on both feet.

Lol yup my thoughts . So I came from having the low seat also when I bought the bike and tried having it customized by Mr. Ed's Moto in Albany Or. They do a great job but I ended up having them build it wrong for me. I just didn't really know what I was trying to get to I guess. So I went to the Corbin since I figured if it works for the majority it will likely work for me. I got to say it was the perfect fit. It brought me up comfortably while still feeling like I was "in" the bike instead of "on top" of it, plus room to moved back and forth on the seat.

I like the low seat height for the luxury of flat footing at stops but even with only 30" inseam i felt a little cramped. Got the Knight Design lowered pegs to decrease knee bend a bit. Wish the pillion was a little farther back and the step in the seat had a little less foward slope.

Yeah I hear ya. I was really cramped up with the stock low seat. I was briefly considering the lowering pegs as well but was worried about corner clearance. This seat ended up fixing both issues for me without compromising anywhere.

Would buy but not in Portland would be happy to pay shipping
Is the seat still available? I am interested, where is it available to view? Please feel free to call me at 262-391-1296. I would like more info.
I live in Garden Home, over by Washington Square, and would be very very interested in your seat depending on the height. Do you know what that is? I need something around standard height.

Hey there. Yeah it is. I found some more stuff from my old bike so now it comes with an extra rear caliper and two sets of brake pads👍

Hi there, very interested in the seat. have a friend in Spokane WA, who offered to pick it up, however after realizing it was more than a 2 hour drive to Portland, his enthusiasm dwindled. Would it be possible for you to stick it in a box or I wrap it in cardboard and whole bunch of tape, drop it off at your local UPS and they will take care of the rest. I will pick up the tab for the UPS shipping and handling charges. I will pre-pay it and provide you with the reference number, all you have to do is package it up and drop it off
hi again, friend has agreed to collect the seat from your place in Portland. please provide a number I can call to make arrangements. Thanks
