Does the Arrow have the db killer fitted? They’re normally not so loud at all unless the db killer has been removed.

Post a photo of the outlet from the rear if you’re not sure.

If it does, you’re likely to get an original for less than you could sell the Arrow. Otherwise, you might find someone who wants to do a swap.

The DB killer was definitely removed. I’ve contacted Arrow to see if I can buy one. Not holding out much hope about that. I’ve found some generic DB killers that might work with modifications.

There seem to be ones that claim to be Arrow brand for about $70.

Maybe a forum member with the same can could post photos and dimensions of their stock item to give you confidence if Arrow doesn’t supply separately.

The Arrow catalogue lists the part number for db killers by pipe diameter and type.

You should be able to order one through an Arrow dealer or online somewhere.

They are out of stock. No further information was given. So I ordered option number 2. That’s coming from China, its a month before I see that.

Still looking for an unmodified stock muffler from a 2011-2014 R1200R.

The stock muffler is large, Heavy, and Ugly (IMHO), you will notice the additional weight. I replaced my stock muffler with a Remus with the DB killer installed it has a nice sound without bark or drone, looks and sounds much better than the stock setup. I would say wait until you have tried the DB killer in the Arrow before spending money on a stock system.

P/N: 18127727583. 10 - 14 BMW R1200R. Exhaust Muffler. Pull off parts could be taken off of the bike for multiple reasons. WE ARE UNSURE OF WHAT MODEL OR YEAR THIS WILL WORK ON. This part appears to be in decent shape but does have scratches and scuffs on it (PICTURE 12).

Not available. I found an end cap on eBay for $7, and welded it in the Arrow.

I just bought a 2013 R1200R with an after market muffler on it. It's way too loud. I'm looking to buy a take off, that someone might have laying around. It has the flapper valve if that makes a difference and the OD of the pipe is 60mm on a straight section.

Hi,
I replaced by stock muffler at 30K miles with an aftermarket unit. Here's pictures. It's in pretty nice shape. No dings/dents. Some discoloration at the header end.
I'm asking $100 delivered price. But I don't buy and sell much, so let me know if you think that's reasonable.
