I cannot believe that they would not already know all this and do the work for me, it is called customer service, right?
All they know is the official BMW parts catalogue. They likely get frowned upon for using non-BMW sourced parts, even if they are OEM.

Got the bike back today, new Michelin Pilot Road 6 tires and all seems good again.

Did not realize how much I missed her. :)

Not very happy today, ......

During today’s ride and after 422 miles since the service, the throttle is stuck. Occasionally, I can manually twist it back and it will go back to the original position, most of the times it does not. While stopping at a light, clutch pulled in or in neutral the RPM’s are around 7K, so I have to shut the bike off and fire it back up once ready to take off.

The dealer will have to take care of this, as obviously something is wrong. I sure hope it will be covered under warranty, as it has only been 5 weeks and 422 miles since I have picked the bike up after the repairs.

No kidding!!!!!

And very annoyed by it as well, after paying a good chunk of change for when the bike was at the dealer.

Now I just wait for them to tell me it was not their issue and I need to cough up some more funds.

Some good news.

After sending an email over the weekend to the dealer explaining the situation, I received a phone call early this morning, letting me know that they will pick up the bike and take care of the issue.

Bike was picked up on time yesterday and returned to me this afternoon.

Guess when they installed the throttle bodies, they left too much slack on the cable, which caused it to unhook itself and wrap around the throttle lever.

Very happy with how the dealer responded and took care of it.
