This has probably been discussed before but I can't find it. Help wanted please; I have scuffed the paint on the telelever and exposed the bright alloy underneath the grey-metallic paint (spoils my otherwise beautiful bike). Does anyone know where I can get the correct colour touch-up paint for the telelever? It seems to be the same on all the R12s so I would have thought it was available somewhere... but where! Also, for all those looking for a good screen, I've fitted the Wunderlich adjustable Ergo screen; brilliant. Fiddly to fit but well worth the effort. Cheers guys.

So I hit a section of highway where rocks were strewn. Some of them chipped the paint on my gorgeous cast wheels. Anybody know where to get touch-up paint for the wheels? Crying in my beer.:(

Nooooooooooo

Clem, I have used this kit to touch up my car, someone let their shopping cart go and it landed on my fender, I touched that too, it looked good and they have most colors.

Hope it helps.

Thanks. More of a shock to my pride than real physical damage. It happens.:mad:If you didn't know where to look, might not ever notice, but every time I polish them, it hurts. I think the matte metallic touch up paint will be easy to get from the dealer. BMW sold cars with this same matte finish. Least it wasn't the headlight or front of the tank.

Don't polish them or, have you seen plasti dip????
It's basically a plastic spray, people use it to change wheel colors all the time, they have a matte gray and seems easy to apply.
I don't want to send a link where to buy since you are far far away but I'm sure sushiland will have something similar and/or better.

Thanks for the info, Hoshiko. Will check it out. Sushiland? You're funny.;) Also heard BMW sold a few cars with this matte paint job, so the BMW car dealer may be another possible source. OK. Gotta go eat some raw fish.:D
