If you want to power a phone or an action cam, where else would you put it, keeping in mind they didn't want to change the faring?

I was thinking of the R, which has it under the tank on the LHS rather than up somewhere near the top triple clamp where it would have greater utility without a cable flapping in the breeze. If you want to power a phone or an action cam, where else would you put it, keeping in mind they didn't want to change the faring?
Yeah, I agree with that. For the R they should have put it near the TFT or similar.I was thinking of the R, which has it under the tank on the LHS rather than up somewhere near the top triple clamp where it would have greater utility without a cable flapping in the breeze.
I looked for pictures of the RS and it appears to have an adapter plugged into a socket on the RHS of the cockpit, which is more practicable.
Being a plug-in adapter, it looks a bit of an afterthought, but possibly more flexible as I assume it could be used as a cockpit 12V Merit outlet instead of USB, in addition to the under-seat outlet.
I don't quite get that guy. He did a two part review of the R1250RS and had a bunch of complaints. The R and RS aren't different enough to review them that differently.
No, and the above reviewer (Nothing to Prove) lives in Germany.Has anyone seen a new R in the US w/D-ESA?
