Warning Indicator lights blinking...

I have a 2007 R1200RT. Last week two warning indicator lights came on while riding my bike (13 mile ride) , the red exclamation triangle and brake failure were blinking on and off (see picture) thoughts? The bike rode fine for the duration of the ride (6 miles remaining). Thoughts?

check your break pads. they probably reached their limit in those 6 miles. go from there.

Thank you for the suggestion. A good starting point indeed.
Also, check brake fluid levels
I’d be very suspicious of the ABS module. Not an uncommon failure for that era.
I don’t believe there is a level sensor for the brake fluid, nor a wear sensor on the brake pads.
A good investment would be the Motoscan Android app with appropriate OBD module and interface cable (OBD to BMW’s proprietary round plug). That would enable you to see the fault code details.
Check out this post/thread.

Does your owner’s manual not list the different warning symbols? I’d start there.
Another possibility is an ABS sensor, likely the front if you didn’t have a speedo malfunction, although some models adapt to take speed readout data from the front of the rear fails.

Check out this thread on another forum. Apparently the front ABS sensor wire can be a problem.
