I have a 2007 R1200RT. Last week two warning indicator lights came on while riding my bike (13 mile ride) , the red exclamation triangle and brake failure were blinking on and off (see picture) thoughts? The bike rode fine for the duration of the ride (6 miles remaining). Thoughts?
I’d be very suspicious of the ABS module. Not an uncommon failure for that era.
I don’t believe there is a level sensor for the brake fluid, nor a wear sensor on the brake pads.
A good investment would be the Motoscan Android app with appropriate OBD module and interface cable (OBD to BMW’s proprietary round plug). That would enable you to see the fault code details.

Hi! I am in the market for a ODB tool to reset the service indication etc. ( don´t see the point to pay for the 12 month service and the 2 K service a few weeks later...) The GS-911 WiFi is a cool piece of kit but a bit pricey for my taste. The obvious is the need of the 10 pin Icom D adapter...
Another possibility is an ABS sensor, likely the front if you didn’t have a speedo malfunction, although some models adapt to take speed readout data from the front of the rear fails.
