Installed CANBUS compliant LED turn signal bulbs from Dynamic Motorrad.
Supper easy installation, LED bulbs just replace the original incandescent, maybe took 5 minutes to do this. I’ve even used the screw driver from the OEM tool kit :).

Bulbs are eye watering bright, it actually hurts to look at my turn signals now in a dimly lit building garage. Dare I say it: these might be too bright! Another eye watering thing about these bulbs - price: with shipping and a discount code ADVRIDER four bulbs came out to $119.99 USD. Supposedly lifetime warranty on those… still cheaper and easier than a few other alternatives.

I found the OEM incandescent turn signals to be just barely adequate on a country road, and lacking at night especially when competing with cars’ LED illumination in an urban environment/highway.

First photo: left side OEM incandescent bulb, right Dynamic Motorrad LED on the right side.

Second photo: both Dynamic Motorrad LEDs.

Fitted a new Isotta touring screen. There’s only a 70mm height difference between the sports screen. The same screen mounting bracket for both is so easy peasy to alternate between the two screens. I will report on any difference in turbulence later this week.

Took her out for a ride today, 120 miles along the Sacramento River Delta.
Been contemplating about getting a K1300GT, more horsepower, more comfort, cruise control, etc.
But, riding this bike today and looking at it while taking the pictures during a butt stop in Isleton, CA, I was asking myself why?
Still a very good looking and well performing bike, with just a bit over 16k miles.

Barely run in. Why would you sell it? 😄
As mentioned, ................... Only because of more horse power and more comfort with cruise control, fairing and adjustable windshield, etc. :)

Can you keep both?
Nope. I will keep the "R" until a good deal on a "K" may come up. Or, ................. might just pass on a "K"

Winderlich footpeg parts arrived today. I am planning a long trip in a few months and when covering long day rides I like to stand up on the pegs to stretch out the knees. The Winderlich 30 mm lower & wide pegs. I like my Knight’s lower pegs but I find them a bit narrow. They an on the wide side but should work out okay.

My H&B replacement pannier arrived today. A replacement because some idiot forgot to engage the locking mechanism. Went for a weekend ride and managed to shed some luggage weight along the way. check out the YouTube clip.

Ouch. Were you able to reattach it or did one of the cars smash it?
A friend had that happen in Mexico. The bag that fell off had cash and his passport in it.
He was not able to find it.

It happened last Friday on the first day of my trip. I covered about 700k and didn't realise I lost the case until I got to my hotel. While it looks obvious on the video clip at the time I didn't realise that's where it happen. I was racking my brain on Friday night trying to unpack all the possibilities. After checking in at the hotel (still annoyed) a hot shower, change of clothes and a beeline to my Indian restaurant of choice and a pale ales or two - boom! - I realised, you idiot - I left a key in the lock in the unlatched position. The next day I decided to retrace my route on my run home but no sign of the case.

On Sunday night I decided to go through the Innova dashcam rear camera footage and found it stored in the “Incident Folder”. I still managed to have a good couple of days riding my LC albeit a little annoyed but at least my wife had a good belly laugh when I told her my - guess what happened on my trip.
