I'm based in Billings, MT for a bike rally and decided to ride down to the Bighorn National Forest and ride the 14 and 14 Alt loop. I gassed up in Dayton with temps in the mid 50's, but as I climbed the mountain it quickly changed to rain, very cold and later in the day, heavy winds. I later checked and saw that at one point I was over 9,400 ft. I hope to ride over Beartooth pass later, unfortunately it was closed today.
Beautiful! I am always looking for more beautiful roads to ride, I will check this one out on my next journey. Being from the East Coast with short riding seasons I am loving this life on the West Coast.
