Castrol now lists this as a replacement for c-saf-xo: SYNTRAX LONG LIFE 75W-90

Is any GL5 synthetic 75W90 gear lube suitable for the rear end? There are many other than the two the OP listed.

Costs almost twice as much as Castrol SYNTRAX LONG LIFE 75W-90
(500cc bottle vs 1000cc). Is it better?
