However, I still like my 2011 Classic, for all it's minor flaws (fuel strip 😀).
My fave R12. I put a matching (striped) Daytona fairing on mine plus a rear wheel hugger and it made an eye-catching combination. There are still a few used mint Classics of that vintage around here for sale...

Maybe the telelever returns

Dream on. My heart was broken when the Telever was dropped, with Motorrad offering only mealy-mouthed words as to why, which didn't conceal the likely reason being penny-pinching cost.

First, don't plan on pulling out your checkbook for at least 2026. They will surely release a new RT well before an R update.

Personally, I would trade for a lighter, smaller displacement boxer motor, that made 120bhp R1100RR type bike :) I dont see the value of making a heavier R1300R just to gain a few ponies.
But they need to bring back ESA!

And Telelever!

There’s a lot of sense in going for the latest last one. I’ve seen countless videos of dissatisfied GS1300 buyers stating reliability, menu madness, pillion comfort and a generally less relaxing ride
I do like that! And it applies to so many electrical consumer goods these daze - anyone's wife recently bought a new electric iron... madness there!

Simplicate. Add lightness. That's the way to go...

It looks so HUGE and HEAVY!
